Ohio

Well, we've been in Ohio for about a month now. We've gone to the Columbus zoo a few times and battled the heat, but it's been fun. We're so glad Amy and Ava are out here too! Here are the girls at the zoo:

Yesterday we drove up to Kirtland and toured some historical sites. It's so neat! Here is the Kirtland Temple:

The 3 of us outside the Temple:

Trevor and Sadie posing outside of the Newel K. Whitney store. This was one of my favorite places. Joseph and Emma lived upstairs, also where the School of the Prophets was. It's humbling to walk through the same door, and on the floorboards where the Prophet did- where so many miraculous things happened.

She's 3!

Sadie turned 3 a few days ago! I'm so grateful that she's in my life. That she IS my life :) I learn so much from the way she sees the world and love witnessing her discover it bit by bit everyday. We love her so much. Happy Birthday Sweetie!!!

She wanted a Rapunzel cake, so here is my masterpiece :) She loved it.

And thank-you to my life-saving mother and sister, who helped me out with it

Cruisin'

We got to get away this past week and go on a Western Caribbean Cruise. We loved getting out of the cold, seeing new places and things, eating amazing food, and playing in the ocean (especially Sadie- she could live on the beach).

Holidays 2010

The past couple of months have been fun-filled with the holidays. Here's a glimpse of what our lives had held:

Took a couple trips down to Cleveland. We were there over New-Years with all of Trevor's siblings and their families. We were celebrating Trevor's dad's retirement!!
Here, Sadie and her dad are going out to Grandpa Glen's farm.

Like mother, like daughter. I'm starting her early on some Banj0-Kazooie, one of my all time favs (she calls it Intendo)

These were my 2 cabbage-patch dolls from when I was a little girl. Ahhh- sentimenal :)
